Obey

Why don't you put your special glasses on and discover hidden consumer messages everywhere?

I have now read the text Torbjörn Elensky has written for the exhibition leaflet I am currently working on.

Torbjörn is a brilliant writer and so, the text is brilliant.

My posters made him think of this movie that I have yet to watch and which apparently inspired Shepard Fairey and the Obey campaign.

Fairey was, embarrassingly, a new acquaintance for me even though I was familiar with the Obey "logotype".

Barbara Kruger and Jenny Holzer have both been more inspiring to me ever since I first encountered their work in the 80's.
